Shandong Shida Shenghua Chemical Co., Ltd.is located in Dongying, which is the central city on the Yellow River Delta. Dongying is an open coastal city that has recently flourished economically and culturally. It is the intersection of the Around-the-Bohai-Sea Economic Zone and the Yellow River Economic Belt. It is also the base of China's second largest oilfield—Shengli Oilfield. A highly efficient transportation network is formed by the far-reaching highways, Dongzhang Railway, Dongying Harbor and Dongying Airport.     Our company is one of the backbone enterprises belonging to the University of Petroleum. Our company has more than 700 employees, a fixed assets of RMB 0.7 billion and a total area of 1,200mu. Our company owns 130,00t/year gas plant, 40,000t/year propylene oxide plant, 72,000t/year propylene carbonate plant, 60,000t/year dimethyl carbonate plant, 48,000t/year 1,2- propylene glycol plant, 2,000t/year ethyl methyl carbonate plant, 2,000t/year diethyl carbonate, 5,000t/year carbohydrazide plant, 70,000t/year solvent oil production plant and 10,000t/year rectification plant. A complete industrial chain from propylene, to propylene oxide, to carbonate ester, to diethyl carbonate and ethyl methyl carbonate has been formed.      Dimethyl carbonate plant has introduced the most advanced technology within the country and the main part of the plant is made of stainless steel. The automatic control system DCS is adopted to ensure high quality product. Currently the DMC is sold to Europe, America, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia and favorably commented by clients. This product has received silver prize in 2004 Shanghai International Industry Exposition.      In 2005, our company has built new chemical area in Kenli economic development zone in Dongying city. Now the new area has production plants of 40,000t/year propylene oxide, 100,000t／year gas and supporting public facilities. It is planned that plants of 80,000t／year Chloro-Alkali, thermoelectricity and solvent oil will be built from 2006 to 2007.       Our company has independent right to export and import and it is one of the hi-tech enterprises of Shandong Province. The company has got ISO9002-2000 and QHSE quality management system certificates. With “Unitive, practical, innovative” as its guiding principle and “Scientific management, First-class product, Best service” as its cultural basis, our company is actively making progress and establishing an image of a hi-tech enterprise. Our company started to carry out QHSE management system in June of 2004. By now there are 15 persons that have received certificates of inner checker.
